About Us

AIROKAD is a contemporary accessories brand exploring the intersection of craft and design.

Rooted in the dual techniques of glassblowing and flameworking, each piece is shaped from borosilicate glass — a material valued for its clarity, strength, and fluidity. Heated over flame and expanded with air, the glass softens into a molten state, allowing it to be stretched, bent, and formed into organic, free-flowing silhouettes.

Shaping a piece of glass

The process is both controlled and unpredictable.
Glass responds in real time — subtle variations, soft distortions, and imperfect curves emerge naturally, making each piece inherently one-of-a-kind.

AIROKAD pieces come to life through a dialogue between crafts.
The glass is hand-shaped in Firozabad, while metalwork and beading are developed in Jaipur — bringing together two distinct craft legacies into a single, contemporary expression.

AIROKAD - a name that might sound novel, yet carries a deep personal meaning rooted in legacy.

Derived by reversing the founder’s surname Dakoria, AIROKAD is her passion project - a vision to create jewelry that transcends ornamentation and turns art into wearable form.

Each piece reflects her personality - seriously playful, embodying both bold creativity and a feminine sensibility through vibrant colors and thoughtful design.

Step into the world of AIROKAD - where you don’t just accessorize, you AIROKADize.

There are three words we want you to remember when you think of AIROKAD.

Seriously playful.
Because we love to have fun with form - but never without intention. Our pieces flirt with whimsy, yet carry a quiet strength. They’re lighthearted, but never careless.

Wearable art.
Because each piece isn’t just jewellery - it’s a small sculpture, a conversation starter, a reflection of the world through glass. It’s meant to be worn, not just admired.

Avant-garde.
Because we don’t follow trends, we bend them. We love the unexpected, the asymmetrical, the bold. AIROKAD exists where art meets rebellion - and beauty becomes a little bit brave.

This is what AIROKAD stands for. This is the language we speak.
